The game is great the features are excellent but the only problem is, is that pokemon only show up in one spot I know you have to out and about to find them but it would be nice to be able to move my character in the pokemon world. And it would be nice to actually update the scenery as well so it's not just a grass land area. You need to add say like pokemon centres and contests and other building and characters you can bump into to talk to. But other than that it's a great game and I do love playing. Would be a 5 star if you could control your character at least within a 1 mile radius and cruise around and catch pokemon.
This game more so applies to kids because of this factor alone. Its a good game and i still hop on from time to time but with busy schedual i cant really do much outside.
So inside with controls to be able to run around with my character at least a mile outside of my starting position would make this game playable way way more often. I would really like to put my legendary Pokemon that I've defeated and caught on a gym to show the amount of work I've put in. Coin system is 1 coin per 10 minutes of your Pokemon being on a gym. 50 coins max in a day. Read the notes! Saying youre a rural player doesnt really matter, the idea is to get out of your subdivision and walk/bike around.
The game is great, my wife, child and I go for walks every night and catch Pokemons. I just wish a One Time Team Change would be implemented as I chose a different team then my friends at the start. I love this game.
I have gotten out of the house and gotten way more active because of this game. My boyfriend and I have a blast playing this. We've met new people and have a little raid group, we create little challenges within our group and even within our household as the kids play too. It's a great way to get out of the house and spend time with our friends and family and have lots of fun doing it. This game is so unique in the sense that you're not anchored to one place and you have lots of initiatives to keep going.
Start playing and you won't regret it. Even if you decide to spend money, it's worth it because it keeps you active and outside. Helps with depression and weight loss.
Update: when powering up Pokemon, the list takes me back to the top when exiting out of a Pokemon's profile page. This is quite annoying. I'd like to keep scrolling down from where I was last, not from the top over and over again. Original: Niantic, please up the drop rate for potions and revives! Hardly any drop from stops anymore. Raids don't drop much either.
Max of 3- 9 hyper potions and only a few revives. As someone who loves to raid and partake in gyms, I need potions and revives. I have two full pages of Pokemon that need healing, but can't do a thing about it.

The catching event is over, so please stop the massive pokeball drop rate. I'd really appreciate it. Tons of players in my area feel the same. I love this game and wanna keep participating, but I need the resources to do so. A problem presented to players of the teams that make up the minority is that the dominant team in the area always seems to make it difficult for the two other teams to earn pokecoins. Such an example is in Singapore, pokemon in some mystic gyms around the country have been around for more than 12 hours, while Valor and Instinct pokemons are around for an averagely 3 to 4 hours. Please fix this problem of TEAM SUPREMACY worldwide otherwise it will not make the game fun and fair to play, and to the dominant team, not at all challenging.
This 'game' has been out for over a year. Half of the things we were promised AT LAUNCH are still not a part of the game, such as trading. It has been extremely buggy since release and I have just experienced one that will no longer locate where I am, so I am entirely unable to play. I am angry at Niantic for sitting on their lazy asses and continuing to spew out additions to an application that wasn't even finished when it was released.
Don't waste your time. This is not an app that is worth your while yet. The game has a very innovative concept. However, the players from parts of the world where gyms and Pokestops are spread thin and far apart may lose interest and stop playing altogether.
The number of Pokestops and gyms is obscene in places while on the other hand there's nary a pokestop in sight for miles. There's a bug as well. I'm not sure if it's there in every device. I play this game on a OnePlus 5 and the map on the screen stops responding to touch at times. The buttons still work. But the map wouldn't respond.
